Why I’m Building Treatss – A New Chapter for Tulsipur
From global opportunities to local impact, this is the story behind Treatss a food delivery platform built to spark a digital movement in Tulsipur, Nepal.
Why I’m Building Treatss: A New Chapter for Tulsipur
“Personal growth. Family growth. City growth. National growth. Global growth. This is the path I’ve chosen.”
I was born in 2001 in the heart of Tulsipur, Dang a place that shaped me more than I ever realized. I grew up in a home with limited means but no shortage of curiosity. I’ve always believed that you don’t have to be in a big city to dream big.
Since I was a kid, I was fascinated by technology. In class 6, I told people I wanted to study computer-related subjects. Most people here didn’t really understand what I meant. Computers were rare at least in my area. But I could see something even then how the future would revolve around tech.
In 2015, after completing my SLC (10th grade), my parents bought me my first laptop, well it was late, but hey, better late than never. That moment changed everything. It became my second world. I explored, tinkered, learned, failed, tried again and slowly fell in love with building things on a screen.
I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
💻 From Tulsipur Curiosity to Bangalore Code
I finished my +2 studies in Tulsipur, graduating as one of the top students in my school. That opened the door for me to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Bangalore, India a city that breathes tech and innovation.
But I wasn’t there to party or enjoy college life. I had one goal: build my skills. Every day, I focused on coding, understanding systems, and sharpening my ability to create real-world solutions.
Meanwhile, Bangalore was like a tech utopia. Startups were everywhere. Services were instant. Life was fast, digital, efficient. The gap between that world and Tulsipur was massive.
That’s when it clicked: technology isn’t just cool it’s a necessity. It’s how the modern world works.
🌍 From Texas Screens to Tulsipur Streets
In my final year of college, I was hired remotely by a US-based AI startup in Texas. That opportunity changed my life.
After graduation, I returned to Nepal and kept working remotely earning a global income in USD from my hometown. Coming from a humble background, my first priority was clear: give my family the life they deserved.
I renovated our house. Upgraded the amenities, with every single electrical appliance that we can get, the things we used to dream about. Once they were taken care of, Then came the time to reward myself everything I once dreamed of but couldn’t afford: every single tech related product that I wanted, I got. I had reached a point of personal stability.
For the first time, I felt settled. Life was comfortable.
But comfort isn’t the same as purpose.
🤯 The Question That Changed Everything
After 1.5 years of working remotely from Tulsipur, something started bothering me. I had everything I needed income, freedom, skills. I even began looking into migration. Canada. Japan. Germany. I compared countries. Shortlisted options.
But then one thought hit me like lightning:
“If someone like me who topped one of the best schools in Tulsipur leaves, then who stays behind to build it?”
That question haunted me. Not in a sad way, but in a deeply moral way.
I had seen the world. I had tasted what was possible.
Now I wanted to bring that world back home.
🧑💻 What Can a Software Developer Do for His City?
I didn’t want to complain about what was missing in Tulsipur. I wanted to solve it.
So I looked at what I could do as a developer. I started by listing out pain points: no delivery systems, low digital access, barely any online services. Things people in big cities take for granted were still out of reach here.
But I also knew something important: change doesn’t happen overnight.
I needed to start small. Build trust. Create something that people would use regularly, without needing to change their habits or mindset.
Something simple.
Something helpful.

🌱 The Five Layers of Impact
Here’s the path I’ve chosen the foundation that guides me every day:
Layer | Mission |
---|---|
Personal | Build world-class skills and inner strength |
Family | Give back the love, safety, and pride they deserve |
City | Solve everyday problems using real, tech-driven solutions |
Country | Help stop brain drain by showing that impact is possible here |
World | Create something meaningful that others can learn from |
This isn’t just ambition. It’s alignment.
Each layer supports the next and they all start in Tulsipur.
